March is Autism Awareness month. There are many different fundraisers going on that help buy technology for adults and children with autism. For example, Mrs. Hyslop is selling bracelets for the Hollyrod Foundation. The Hollyrod Foundation is dedicated to providing compassionate care to those living with autism and their families. For the past five years, Stella & Dot have donated over $390,000. The 390,000 dollars has funded 13 RJ’s places to provide technology for children with autism.
RJ’s places are part of the non profit TILL, Toward Independent Living and Learning, their purpose is to help people reach their full potential and attain the quality of life. RJ’s place help meet the needs of people of all ages with autism spectrum disorders including people with Asperger’s Syndrome, developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, learning differences, mental health disorders, physical disabilities, and acquired brain injuries.
Please help support Autism Awareness Month by buying a harmony or melody bracelet. The bracelets are 21 dollars each. They are less expensive if you buy from Mrs. Hyslop.
