On March 21st the Lee County 9th Grade Campus Chorus went to the upper campus where they had a large performance group evaluation (LGPE).
They sang three Latin songs and an English song.
The Latin songs were Gloria in Excelsis Deo, Et in Terra Pax, and Alleluia.
The final song they performed was The Turtle Dove by Ralph Vaughan Williams.
The group then went into the chorus room and sight read, reading and performing (music) at sight, without preparation for a judge. Overall the group got all 1’s, which means superior and is the highest score you can get. The lowest score is a 5. It was an honor to be in such a talented group. Great job, chorus!
