This January of 2017, Southern Georgia has been through a series of awful storms/tornadoes. People have been without power for days or even weeks. Trailers have been completely ripped apart, and power lines are on the ground. Trees have caused the most damage by falling on houses or around houses. The communities has come together to help victims of the horrific storms.
Churches have united to make lunches and dinners to deliver to people who were affected. Samaritan’s purse and the Storm Relief group have gone out into the area to help clean up the mess. Tree services are also coming into play with getting trees off the houses. It will take months or even years for South Georgia to get over this tragic time of destruction.
