Judgement House Review

Written by Jackson Carlstrom

On the weekend of October 29 and 30, and the weekend of November 5 and 6, the Byne Memorial Baptist Church hosted their annual judgement house event. This event, held annually every fall, takes its participants on a guided tour on what their life would be like if they weren’t a christian.

I got the chance to go to the event on November 5th. Overall, I really enjoyed it. During the event, you were led across the church, where different members of the Byne Memorial Baptist Church served as actors. The story presented was about 4 different teenagers. Throughout the event, we followed these four different teens alongside a cast of other characters.

All of the characters in the story end up dying, and are then sent up to God, where he judges them. We then get to see an example of what heaven is like and what hell is like.

After the character’s story is over, we got to listen to a speaker speak about the topic of God’s judgement. Overall, the event was really inspiring and thought-provoking. The event is held annually, so I would really recommend going next year.
