Color Guard and Danceline Auditions

Written by Hannah McLeod

The Lee County High School Marching Trojan Band are looking for new Danceline and Color Guard members for the 2016 – 2017 season.

Audition clinics

  • April 19, 20, 21. From 3:45pm – 5:30pm

  • Friday, April 22. From 3:45pm – 5:45pm

All auditions will be in the band room at the High School. You can get a tryout packet from the front office. There is no cost to audition this year. All forms are due on the first day of tryouts.

If you are a new member, you have to fill out a medical release form and it has to be notarized. (This form is included in the packet). You can get this notarized by any public notary or visit the secretary at the High School. Returning members do NOT need a new medical release form. All ladies auditioning have to fill out a permission form and get it signed by your parents. (This form is also included in the packet).

We anticipate selecting between 8 and 12 girls for Danceline.

We anticipate selecting between 15 and 20 girls for Color Guard.

  • If you have no dance experience, you should strongly consider auditioning for Color Guard.
  • If you are trying out, you must be prepared to devote time during the summer, after school, and on weekends.

Hope to see you there!
