Lee Soccer Wins One, Drops Another

Written by: Holt Bigelow

The Trojans won one and lost one as they moved to to 3-2 on the season.

Both teams started off slow in the Trojan’s game against Northside Columbus with the score 0-0 at half. But Lee turned up the heat with a solid scoring strike coming in just after half. It was a dogfight from there on out with both sides having their fair share of fouls and injuries. In the end, Lee came out yet again with a win.

Sadly, the team dropped its next game at Lowndes 4-0. The game was a blowout from the beginning with Keeper, Joseph Pratt letting in two goals before intermission. Two more came in before the 90 minute mark and Leesburg came out with a disheartening loss.
The team will look to rebound at home against Valdosta on Friday, February 26.
