The Lee County High School’s wrestling season is off to an exciting start. They hosted their first home match of the season on November 17th against Tift County.
This year the 9th grade campus has nine students on the team. While some wrestlers fell a little short in gaining a win, they still fought with Trojan pride.
Others pulled through strong: Joshua Willis won his first match with a pin in the third period with only forty five seconds left.
Another freshman, Marvin Jones had an impressive win with a pin in the first period.
Congratulations to the Lee County Wrestling team, fight hard and continue making Lee County proud.
