The Lee County Varsity Cheerleading Team, along with high school band members and athletes, visited the lower campus schools on Thursday October 29 for Red Ribbon Rallies.
The purpose of the Red Ribbon Rallies at the elementary and primary schools is to teach children about drugs, and how we don’t need to take part in them. Two seniors from the Varsity Cheerleading team,Tylar Fallaw and Brooke Fallin, talked to the children about how they couldn’t be athletes if they do drugs.
Our two homecoming representatives, Kris Cheshire and Nui Misajon, also talked to the kids about staying away from drugs.
We visited Lee County Elementary, Kinchafoonee Primary School, Twin Oaks Elementary School, Lee County Primary School, and Twin Oaks Elementary School. This is a yearly thing that we do for the kids, and I loved being a part of it!
